Herman relaxing in the Anglesey sun Off to Anglesey for the traditional summer Solstice get together on my mate’s farm. Once again Herman made it there and back with no problems apart from the inate inability to climb anything steeper than a gentle slope, without giving the impression of an exhausted Sherpa Tensing, hauling his way up a particularly difficult stretch on Everest....

Off to my mate Baz’s in Anglesey for our annual Summer Solstice piss-up. Herman never missed a beat on the way there, or back –although he did do a few embarrassing wheel-spins, trying to get into the field through the wet grass.
Still light years from being anywhere near finished inside [in fact we’ve not even started hardly!], but we’ve got a bed and eleventy billion gallons of Mazza’s homebrew ale and my homebrew scrumpy, so at least the essentials were taken care of....

After all the misery and death of blow-outs on the motorway, niggling electrical problems and too long throttle cables, it’s nice to report a bit of fun with Herman, for a change:
Off to Anglesey for the weekend for a bit of summer solstice shenanigans and camping out in Herman on my mate’s farm. The boy didnae miss a beat there and back, his new shoes allowed him to get on and off the field, without so much as a wheelspin – and he also doubled as a scrumpy cooler, when the weather turned ridiculously hot....

Well, this morning Herman went on his first great adventure; me and Mazza’s long trek [well, about 140 miles] down to visit my mate Baz in Anglesey for the Easter weekend.
Hulme to Anglesey - Herman adventure no. 1 Hulme to Anglesey [Close-Up]- Herman adventure no. 1 No problems whatsoever on the way down; Herman cruised along quite happily at around 55mph, topped 65mph a few times on the downhill bits and even scaled the dizzying heights of 67mph during one particularly ferocious overtaking manoeuvre on a trundling-along caravan....
